Day 11 - Learn, build, share

The day started off with a workshop on 3D Geometric Modelling with SketchUp in a school in Jalan Telipot. We reached the school premises at 9.20am. As usual, we were greeted and welcomed by the school teacher.

After the usual installation and setup, the students were briefed by one of the mentors. We showed demos to enhance their creativity in designing their “Home” model.

The students were being quiet and focused on their work. However, during the presentation, they were able to do present well. Students elaborated the minor details such as the costs of construction, building materials, design and some even added in humour to spice up the mood.

Before leaving the school, we were once again presented with souvenirs. We also shared with the students further details on where they can continue in exploring on their own.
