Day 14 - Students vs Teachers & Mentors

Our final stop in Terengganu is in Kemaman where we conducted a workshop  on Robotics. The morning started off with simple opening ceremony. After speech given by the school's headmaster, Khayhen gave a word or two to the students that joined this workshop.

The venue was at the school hall as it was more spacious to allow more room for the mBots to move around. We started at 9.15am after the initial setups. As we mentors are supposed to guide instead of teaching the students, we instructed the students how to connect the mBots and time were given to the students explore mBot on their own.

The students had a small break at 10am and continued at 10.30am in their exploration. A small competition was held by the end of the workshop in which students design and modify their mBot with satay sticks to try to pop balloons on each other's mBot in the arena. The winners even beat the mentors and teachers!

During the closing ceremony, we were given lemang as souvenirs and certificates from the school. After that, we continued on our drive to Bentong awaiting for the last workshop of our East Coast tour.
